Meet the Doctor

Dr. Hargraves began his practice in Lynn Haven, Florida on September the 1st 1984. Since that first day he has committed himself and his staff to producing the utmost in gentle, caring, and high quality dentistry. Our practice believes in a family commitment to both children and adults of all ages. We have seen patients from two years old to one hundred years old, as long as the patient is willing and cooperative we try to solve all of their dental problems or refer them to the best specialist in our area.

We practice a philosophy of trying to find an affordable, practical, and cosmetic solution to all dental needs, therefore we have termed our practice FAMILY AND COSMETIC DENTISTRY. We believe that all modern dentistry should be as cosmetic as possible.

We placed our first porcelain veneers in 1987 and the first resin bonded veneer while still in dental school at the University of Chile in Valparaiso, Chile, where Dr. Hargraves had to learn Spanish and dentistry at the same time. After graduating the University of Chile he attended New York University in New York City and then obtained his practicing license in the states of Arizona and Florida.

With an undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas where he majored in Psychology, this prepared Dr. Hargraves with a unique insight into 'catering to cowards.' Many of his patients have been dental-phobes and have learned to accept gentle care through Dr. Hargraves painless dentistry techniques. We take a lot of pride in administering local anesthetic with a gentle touch. Dr. Hargraves provides a full scope of modern, preventive and restorative dentistry, from basic periodontal needs, fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant restorations, extractions, endodontics, and diagnosis of most dental and maxilofacial ailments.
